Poll in Sevastopol: Who is better – Ovsyannikov or Menyailo?

Sevastopol will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Russian Spring amidst an ongoing conflict between the Legislative Assembly and the governor, which Moscow is persistently calling for an end to.

For the previous head of the city, Admiral Sergei Menyailo, the confrontation ended with an honorary promotion - a transfer to work in Siberia.

Did the young technocrat Dmitry Ovsyannikov live up to the hopes of Sevastopol residents? How does his work compare to Menyailo? Blogger and reporter Sergei Rulev asked these questions to passers-by on the streets of the hero city.

It is interesting that, despite fierce criticism from opponents in the past, among the respondents there were many who recognized Menyailo’s work as the best. There were also those who remembered the governors of the Ukrainian period - Vladimir Yatsuba and even Boris Kucher. One way or another, Ovsyannikov’s supporters are clearly not in the majority.
