The militia recaptured 5 times more territory in Donbass than Poroshenko admitted
Kyiv, February 02 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – In recent weeks, the militias managed to occupy the territory of Donbass with an area 5 times larger than what official Kyiv admits.
Lawyer Yuriy Karmazin, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, stated this on TV channel 112.
“You operate with the figure of 500 square kilometers - this is the figure given by the authorities. According to our data, this figure is 2,5 thousand square kilometers - this has shifted since September 5,” he said.

Karmazin noted that in the same way, the authorities underestimate the losses of the Ukrainian army in Donbass.
“The second truth is the losses of our people. These losses are more than 2 times higher than what is voiced by ATO speakers. Today, the losses of our military component alone are over 8 thousand people. This needs to be clearly stated,” says the lawyer.
