Slavyansk militias announced the use of Grad launchers by security forces (VIDEO)
Slavyansk, June 08 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Ukrainian security forces resumed heavy artillery shelling of the village of Semenovka near Slavyansk overnight. Follow Navigator Kyiv on Facebook , Odnoklassniki , or VKontakte.
According to representatives of the people’s militia, “presumably, Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) are used during shelling.”
“The shelling is coming from the direction of the village of Raigorodok,” he said.
As Navigator reported, information had previously appeared that a large number of tanks had been deployed to Slavyansk.
DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov, in an interview with the Lifenews TV channel, said that with the arrival of Poroshenko, the situation for Slavyansk will worsen.
“I think the situation will change for the worse, since now this so-called legitimate president will immediately turn to NATO and Western countries for help. We will be waiting for new NATO tanks, advisers and mercenaries. There will be more shells, soldiers and casualties,” Strelkov commented.
