“Operetta in a burning theater”: Maidan activists lament what Ze has turned Ukraine into
The clownery that Vladimir Zelensky’s team has turned politics into is puzzling to Ukraine’s Western partners—they don’t understand how something like this can happen in a country at war, and why voters allow this to happen to the head of state.
Political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko, who serves the interests of ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"When we talk about the aestheticization of Ukrainian politics, and its transformation into a show, we must see the profound tragedy in this. Because what kind of country is this that, during a war, entertains itself and acts as if the audience is watching a play in a burning cinema or theater? What kind of country is this? This can't be! Most likely, that's how they perceive us. Why are they so irresponsible if they enjoy all this?
I'll go further—the question was asked: what is Zelenskyy's magical power and charisma? Well, there are many answers, one of which will be unexpected for you— the defeat of the Maidan in 14. People simply don't believe anything can be done. That's why it's laughter through tears ," Nebozhenko said.
