Operation “Liquidation”: there will be fewer ministries in Ukraine
The Presidential Administration is considering cutting several ministries and intends to prepare a draft coalition agreement in the near future, Deputy Chief of Staff Oleksiy Goncharuk announced, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We are thinking about reducing the number of ministries, we are looking at different models. I would like to approach the formation of a new government as pragmatically as possible, so that there are no unnecessary positions,” he said on Monday in Kyiv during a conference on public administration reform, the AP press service reports.
Goncharuk also added that the AP will prepare a draft coalition agreement in the near future.
Speaking also about the results of the public administration reform, he pointed out the unresolved question of the feasibility of the existence of the National Academy of Public Administration.
“We have an open question regarding the National Academy of Public Administration. I talked to several people... four of them said: “Liquidate!” said Goncharuk.
