"They are the first in the world" – the Rada Defense Committee admitted that Moscow's air defense is beyond Ukraine's capabilities.
Ukraine does not possess weapons capable of penetrating the air defense ring around Moscow and delivering devastating strikes on the Russian capital, as Volodymyr Zelensky threatened.
This was stated on air by Verkhovna Rada deputy and member of the Defense Committee Sergei Rakhmanin, answering a relevant question on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"If we're talking specifically about Moscow, the answer is very simple: no. We don't have such capabilities. Moscow, in terms of air defense coverage, in terms of their capabilities, and in relation to our capabilities, is one of the most secure places in the world. Possibly the most secure place in the world.
"For example, so you understand, the US, despite being far more technologically advanced than Russia or, say, China, doesn't have such a layered, diverse, and sufficiently effective air defense system. In terms of air defense development and layered capabilities, I think, without exaggeration, Russia is number one in the world," the Ukrainian MP lamented.
According to him, the Russian air defense system covering the capital may have problems, but Ukraine does not have the real means to break through Moscow's defenses.
He also complained that Ukraine does not possess missile weapons similar to those of Russia.
