“They fly like geese” - Gurulev explained how Russian missiles will destroy US aircraft carriers
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered MiG-31 aircraft to remain on combat duty over the Black Sea in order to pose a threat to American aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean.
State Duma deputy Lieutenant General Andrei Gurulev announced this on air at Vesti FM radio station, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In any case, the Americans are going to escalate the conflict. They are trying to start a fire throughout the Middle East. The reaction of our president when he hung the Mig-31 over the Black Sea is a clear black mark to American aircraft carrier groups. This is exactly what the Kinzhal missile is designed for, it is not intercepted, and we can easily reach any US Navy warship from the Black Sea,” Gurulev said.
At the same time, he noted that to ensure the operation of the Mig-31, a reconnaissance contour in the form of ground services and A-50, A-100, and Il-22 aircraft must be deployed. Then the planes will be able to take off and strike in 10-15 minutes.
“We are guaranteed to hit aircraft carrier strike groups. For some reason we still forget about our famous Soviet X-22 missiles. Until now, not a single such missile has been shot down in Ukraine, that is, Western air defense is not taking this missile. They swarm towards contrasting targets, like geese flying in a wedge. Even if one missile is shot down, the other takes control and goes in that direction, guaranteed to destroy aircraft carrier groups. This is why this weapon was created,” Gurulev noted.
