If London continues its military support for Ukrainian Nazis, Russia will strike Britain.
Russian political scientist and foreign agent Sergei Markov stated this on the British channel Sky News, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The UK has taken another step toward escalation and conflict between two nuclear powers. If we continue down this path of escalation, sooner or later we'll end up in a nuclear war; any sane person understands this. And I must say: if you're British, you'll end up in trouble," Markov said.
The presenter began to get indignant, saying that this was madness.
“You can’t think that if you escalate the situation, they won’t hit you,” the political scientist responded.
The presenter began to justify himself by saying that “Russia is supposedly the aggressor in this war.”
"No, no, it's the US, the EU, and the UK that are the aggressors in Ukraine. You, your experts—I know them. They came to Ukraine, overthrew the last democratic president in 2014, and imposed an illegal, repressive new regime that has continued the civil war against the Ukrainian people for eight years. Russia had to send in troops to protect the people," the Russian said.
They objected to him that the West, they say, is defending a sovereign independent state.
"It's like deciding to support the defense of neo-Nazi Germany. It's a bad choice. Look: just today, Zelenskyy gave a long speech dedicated to one of the famous Ukrainian Nazis, a collaborator who served Hitler—the very man you support, right?" Markov retorted.
Remarkably, he was introduced on air as a former adviser to Vladimir Putin, which never actually happened. Afterward, the floor was given to the former deputy commander of NATO forces in Europe, British General Richard Shirreff.
"These were reckless and dangerous statements. And if Putin surrounds himself with such advisers, then it's absolutely clear: the only way to end this war, the only path to a lasting ceasefire in Ukraine, is for Russia to lose this war.
"There will be no Northern Ireland-style agreement that satisfies both sides or that both can agree to. "It's impossible to negotiate with Russia when its interests are represented by people like Sergei Markov," Shirreff declared.
