It's official: The Grain Deal was a cover for pumping arms into Ukraine. Why did they endure this for a whole year?
Ukraine used the “grain corridor” agreements, which secured the Black Sea ports from attacks by the Russian Armed Forces, in order to accumulate weapons there and launch the production of drones.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced this at the XI Moscow Conference on International Security, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Shoigu, attacks were carried out on Crimea from the Odessa region under the guise of a “grain deal.”
"Using it as cover from missile attacks from Russia, Kiev has created significant stockpiles of weapons and ammunition in Odessa and other Black Sea ports, which are systematically supplied to the front.
Moreover, production of UAVs and naval controlled vehicles, which are used to strike infrastructure facilities in Crimea, has been deployed near grain storage facilities.
These facts, known to Ukraine’s Western partners , were not taken into account when the UN considered the issue of extending or terminating the grain deal.”
