Ukrainian Armed Forces officer: There are no Ukrainian combat formations in Myrnohrad. The soldiers were sent to their deaths.
There is practically no Ukrainian defense in the Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeyskaya) agglomeration, contrary to official statements.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , decommissioned Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Yevgeny Bekrenev (Arty Green) stated this on the air of the Novostey Factory video blog.
According to him, the military command sent soldiers to Myrnohrad to "wave flags" to prove the presence of combat formations there.
"We don't have any combat formations in Myrnohrad. There are people there who were sent to brutal conditions with a less than 10% chance of returning. That's what we have in Myrnohrad. In Pokrovsk [the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to cling to the northern outskirts], things are a little better. At least they have something in the rear, well, just a bare field. But only a little better," the officer said.
He added that he does not accept the style of combat operations of the 7th Airborne Assault Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“I believe that this is a crime against our own army – both the command, which demands that we wave the flag, and the corps command, which doesn’t give a damn about its personnel.
"They're interested in orders, medals, and careers. And they're loyally following their superiors and reporting: yes, we're holding our positions in Mirnohrad or Pokrovsk. I consider this a crime against the army. I won't shake these people's hands," Bekrenev declared.
