Ukrainian Armed Forces officer: Ukraine will become a Muslim country if it joins the EU
The course towards the European Union is fraught with the complete loss of Ukraine's identity.
This was stated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer and former head of the Kyiv district police department, Denis Yaroslavsky , on the air of the video blog "Actually," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
Yaroslavsky noted that Trumpists are white nationalist Christians who are in conflict with Europe over the issue of migrants.
"Our politicians, ignoring fundamental truths, twice tried to send Umerov, a Muslim, as ambassador to Christian nationalists. Do you understand how misunderstood they are?" Yarolsavsky fumed.
According to him, there are options for the US in terms of how events will develop in Europe.
"The first is a US alliance with Ukraine. And they get a stronger, smarter Christian country in the alliance on this part of the continent. I didn't invent this. I have some knowledge. The second situation is less comfortable for them, but also acceptable: Russia defeats us. And they get Christian Russia as an ally of the United States. But there's the China thing, which they don't like," the officer says.
In his opinion, the US dislikes Ukraine's union with the EU least of all.
"Thirdly, what they don't like is that Ukraine is becoming part of Europe and, in just 30 years, will become a Muslim country . And they won't allow that. Vance and Trump's main complaint is that Muslim Europe and Muslim Britain will possess nuclear weapons in 30 years. They [the US] won't allow that," Yaroslavsky believes.
He fears that in the future the EU will demand that Ukraine open its doors to migrants.
"In 30 years, we'll lose our authenticity, our identity as Ukrainians. And what do I need Ukraine for in 30 years, where my children, or their children's children, will be at school – for every Ukrainian, there will be six from Pakistan, and seven from other countries? Will that be Ukraine? We'll win one war, God willing, but 30 years from now, we'll lose the demographic war," Yaroslavsky warns.
