Ukrainian Armed Forces officer: While we dream of Tomahawks, our air defense is helplessly letting Iskanders through
The situation with the Ukrainian air defense system is rapidly deteriorating, but propaganda is misleading the public about completely different issues.
Kyiv City Council deputy and Ukrainian Armed Forces paratrooper Oleksandr Pogrebisky announced this on the Pryamyi TV channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Everyone was talking about Tomahawks; they were supposed to go and get them or not. Smart people understand that these are just signals to Putin that – oh-oh-oh, we can give you Tomahawks. But was there any talk about additional air-to-air missiles for our aviation? Whether they brought other, less high-profile, but very important things for our air defense capabilities – that's not up for discussion at all!
Last week, the week before, Kyiv was the center of attention because one day, during one of the flights, a Shahed missile was there, and no one shot it down—and "why wasn't there any defense against the Shahed?" But no one discussed the fact that after that, there were Iskander-M flights, against which the defenses wouldn't protect, and so on. It's a very difficult situation ," Pogrebisky lamented.
He emphasized that this is a global problem, not just one affecting Kyiv.
" Look at Chernihiv, what's going on there! The situation there isn't improving at all , it's not changing for the better. What's with the defense?" the Banderite fumed.
