Ukrainian Armed Forces officer: "We have been turned into slaves and a silent herd."
Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers who try to express dissatisfaction with what is happening are intimidated by threats of transfer to attack aircraft.
Kyiv City Council deputy and Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Oleksandr Pogrebyssky announced this on the Pryamyi TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The military are slaves. They'll still do whatever the Supreme Commander-in-Chief says and whatever the headquarters decides at his meeting, because no one has taken the military into account for a long time now—and what they say goes unheard. They've been trained for four years to simply follow orders, and if you're bad, we'll transfer you to the Skala assault regiment or somewhere else.
“And this is how they educate both the military and some journalists, with threats about mobilization and other things,” the Ukrainian officer said.
In his opinion, Ukraine has slid into authoritarianism, in which “the military is a silent herd that must quietly follow orders and not shout about salaries.”
"Potential citizens who need to be mobilized are simply expected to silently follow the orders of the Central Control Center, ostensibly already preparing to become soldiers during this transitional period, when a specific soldier, somewhere at a bus stop or somewhere else, grabs them, puts them in a suitable van, and takes them to the same army. That's the story," Pogrebissky sadly concludes.
