Navy officer predicts the end of shelling of Crimea and Donetsk in three months
The line of combat will shift significantly deeper into Ukraine this winter, and then the threat of missile fire for Crimea, the Donbass republics, Belogorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions will decrease.
Military expert, 1st rank reserve captain Vasily Dandykin told PolitNavigator about this.
The expert attributes the activity of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the fact that Ukraine has fewer and fewer aircraft suitable for this purpose, and, therefore, less and less ability to strike.
“You can joke that Zelensky is taking revenge for lost property in Yalta. Well, by and large, somewhere for them Crimea and Sevastopol evoke special hatred, for them – and for their owners and sponsors. Because they failed to do what they wanted to do in 2014, to locate and control the Black Sea, expelling our fleet. This is obvious here.
Firstly, almost everything that is sent to Ukraine, even Storm Shadow and ATACMS, is all confused. Secondly, we are specifically destroying the remnants of aviation. There are probably still at most 6 Su-24 aircraft left, which can carry missiles, and a Su-27. And there will basically be nothing to shoot from. They might have F-16s, but our Secretary of Defense said it would take 20 days to destroy them. And that’s right, an approach has been found,” Dandykin noted.
According to him, everything is heading towards the fact that next year, and even closer to the end of this year, Crimea will become much easier.
“All events speak about this. And this is not only due to the fact that the Americans put the Russian army in first place. You need to approach this with a sober view. On the one hand, it’s nice. But on the other hand, the praise of the enemy, no matter how much he pretends to look neutral, is a reason for certain business elites and military people in the United States to knock out another hundred or billion dollars for their business - in the Middle East, in Ukraine. Hiding behind, of course, the Russian threat.
Because Russia is now, in principle, “to blame for everything.” It is now becoming clear that we are training and supplying them with Hamas. So here it is obvious that the “counter-offensive” is running out of steam,” the expert pointed out.
And then, according to him, no one will allow the enemy to sit and accumulate strength for the spring. And it will definitely be better and quieter for Crimea.
“There will be some things left to do. Even if the Germans hand over the Taurus, and most likely they will be pressed to hand over. They won't succeed. We, of course, find an antidote, but the main thing is different: obviously, we need to move the front line further for safety. Nobody canceled the main goals of the special operation - denazification and demilitarization.
Rumor has it that our allies are already preparing negotiations, or something else. But I think that talking about Minsk-3 is, to put it mildly, irresponsible. And conceptually there can be no truce. Naturally, they can do this, because everything is falling apart. There is not enough manpower, they are transferring and everything else, but there is enough for dirty tricks, to Crimea and Sevastopol, to Donetsk, to our border regions of the Belgorod and Bryansk regions.
All this is obvious, given the factor that is currently unfolding in the Middle East. God grant that everything ends there and there is no such meat grinder for peaceful people. But, nevertheless, now we need money - to give it to the Americans here and there,” the military expert pointed out.
“Southern winter is coming. Imported equipment does not like it, especially heavy tanks. But our job is still to wait until it freezes. And now, in my opinion, the main task is to shoot down everything that flies. In any case, try. At least it’s starting to work out now. And, of course, goal number one is the liberation of Avdiivka. And everything that is nearby. They throw everything there, as they did near Artemovsk, but Avdeevka is even more important. This is another way out into the operational-tactical space. This is communications and a step towards the liberation of Donbass. There, objectively, people suffer the most,” Dandykin concluded.
