Europe is helping Ukraine a lot to continue the war without American help, but this support cannot continue for long.
Kiev political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Internet channel “Wild Live”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
"Why did the negotiations proceed like this, in such a fluid mode? Because Trump cannot ensure many positions, based on the resistance of Europe and Ukraine. And Europe, it supported Ukraine in this regard. Both financially and militarily.
But this also can't last . Even if Europe remained the same as we knew it before April 3 [the start of Trump's trade war], it still wouldn't be able to finance and militarily support Ukraine for a long time, including with new arms packages and so on," Karasev said.
“Well, for example, there was information that they could provide Ukraine with an alternative to Starlink if, for example, Moscow removes Starlink from the front line.
"But I saw a statement today from a French representative of the company that makes a Starlink analogue. She said that it won't be possible to immediately replace Starlink with a French model. That's if Trump reaches an agreement with Russia," he concluded.
