One of the US states recognized the Russian ownership of Crimea
The US state of Idaho has recognized Crimea as part of the Russian Federation, according to the website Sudak.me, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The editors have at their disposal copies of a power of attorney issued by a citizen of Ukraine permanently residing in the United States to a citizen of the Russian Federation. The document talks about the right to obtain documents for premises in Sudak.

“The power of attorney, confirmed in 2016 with the large seal of the state of Idaho and the signature of the “secretary of state” (secretary or, more simply, the head of the state) of Idaho and a notary, contains the address of the premises. The document is also secured by the so-called “apostille” - an international standardized form for filling out information about the legality of a document for presentation in countries that recognize this form of legalization,” the message says.
One US state has recognized Crimea as part of Russia.
