“I decided to nominate my candidacy for the post of Odessa mayor in order to use the platform to promote our ideas and views. I really hope that you will support me. I will justify your trust,” Albu said during a speech at a traditional rally on Kulikovo Field.

At the same time, the official leader of the Odessa Anti-Maidan, Artyom Davidchenko, noted that there will be no single candidate from the protest movement, but it will be possible to choose from those who, in the end, despite obstacles from the authorities, will get to the election race.

Let us remind you that the mayoral elections of Odessa are to take place on May 25 simultaneously with the presidential elections.
