Eyewitnesses: The Mejlis base in the Kherson region was razed to the ground
The base of Mezhdlis militants in the Kherson region, where the so-called battalion named after Noman Celebidzhikhan was completely destroyed as a result of the operation carried out by military personnel of the 57th brigade of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Social activist Gennady Sivak told PolitNavigator about this, citing eyewitness data.

“The operation was carried out by military battalions stationed in Genichesk. An armored personnel carrier and a Ural arrived. Eyewitnesses who visited the site in the morning say that everything was razed to the ground and the entire tent city was crumbled. The military seized a large number of unaccounted for firearms - mines, grenade launchers, machine guns, and machine guns. All data is compiled by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” said Sivak.
“There are several versions of the reasons for what happened. First - the main one - the official authorities of Kyiv completely quarreled with the Majlis. The battalion has not been allowed to register for a long time. And in Ukraine there has long been a trend - everyone who is not registered will be disarmed.
The second version is that the Majlis battalion simply began to pose a danger. There were so many weapons accumulated that at any moment the militants could pull out some kind of feint. Most of them are inadequate and use drugs. There were frequent complaints from local residents that there was constant involuntary shooting at the battalion's location.
And another version - they say that the registration of all volunteer battalions in Ukraine took place like this - large bribes were paid to Avakov. But these didn’t bring anything in,” the activist clarified.
“By the way, no one confirms the rumors about the death of the VSUshnik, but unofficially they say that some Tatar was injured - he was allegedly crushed by an armored personnel carrier. And the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out the operation without losses,” Sivak concluded.
