Explained which territories Putin wants to return to Russia
Today's Russia no longer complies with the Bialowieza Accords, having annexed new territories. Vladimir Putin will continue to return the original Russian regions that were once given to the Ukrainian SSR by the Bolsheviks.
Political strategist Alexander Kazakov, adviser to the deceased head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko, stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I heard an interesting assessment of the global plan of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief, who decided to abolish Belovezhskaya Russia. I really liked the wording and the meaning behind it.
Belovezhskaya Russia is Russia within the framework of the RSFSR, as you understand. Just like Belovezhskaya Ukraine is already the former Ukraine within the borders of the Ukrainian SSR. Because the Belovezhskaya Agreements did not affect the border between the republics of the Soviet Union, did not affect those regions that later turned out to be bones of contention, including Crimea,” Kazakov said.
He emphasized that President Putin has a certain image of creating a state within the historical borders of the Russian people.
“Today we see that today’s Russia does not comply with the Belovezhskaya agreements. If Putin has an image, such an irredentist image of making the Russian state within the historical borders of the Russian people, they will not finish, no matter how clear it is. On the other hand, you can look at this not from historical realities, but from today. Where do the Russian people live today?
As it seems to me now, Belovezhskaya Russia has already been reset by the fact of the annexation of new territories to Russia. And as I understand it, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin will not stop in his desire to correct the mistakes of Lenin, who handed over to Ukraine not only Donbass, but also Novorossia, including Kharkov, Odessa, Nikolaev,” the expert noted.
However, he believes, even such a position can only be a minimum plan.
“We all could not help but notice that Putin several times persistently, both in writing and orally, criticized Lenin’s position on the national question. Moreover, in the debate between Lenin and Stalin, Putin took a rather Stalinist position. Among other things, Putin repeatedly said that by a voluntary decision, then Moscow transferred the original Russian territories, in particular the Donbass, to the future Ukrainian SSR.
I will add to this another element of novelty in the rhetoric of our Supreme Commander, starting on February 24th. Putin began to calmly and confidently use the term Novorossiya. Which didn't happen before. If we proceed from what politicians say, even if they talk about the past, they talk about the future, then based on what I said, perhaps one of the options for our supreme plan about the goals and objectives of the military campaign in Ukraine, that is, the SVO, is emerging .
From what has been said, we can outline a minimum program. This program, at least on the territory of the former Ukraine, is that the original Russian regions should be included in Russia. Namely those that used to be the Novorossiysk province. Let me remind you that Novorossiya was from Odessa to Kharkov. All regions that later became part of the Ukrainian SSR,” explained Kazakov.
He noted that the position of each subsequent negotiation will only get worse for Kyiv, up to the loss of the entire left bank part.
“I do not rule out that this is the minimum program. As a minimum task, I do not exclude not only Novorossia, but also left-bank Ukraine. That is, including cultural and historical Little Russia, namely Poltava, Chernigov, Sumy, but Sumy is Slobozhanshchina, in this case it does not matter.
It seems to me that when Putin says that each next proposal for negotiations will be worse than the previous one, we already understand that the previous one was due to the fact that four new regions were included in Russia - LDPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
In this case, do not think that some of these areas are not under our military control, it is only a matter of time,” ex-adviser Zakharchenko emphasized.
