"The defense of Konstantinovka is coming to an end. Druzhkovka is next." – Ukrainian Colonel
Soon the Russian army will push the last groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of the outskirts of Konstantinovka and begin an offensive on Druzhkovka.
This was stated on air by Colonel Konstantin Mashovets, a columnist for the Ukrainian military propaganda group, on KyivFM, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The defense of Konstantinovka is coming to an end. There, the enemy is already preparing to advance on Druzhkovka. The enemy has already reached the eastern outskirts of Verolyubovka.
" And after they completely push our units out of Kostiantynivka, they will cut off the Ukrainian Armed Forces' tactical salient near Chasov Yar and continue their advance on Druzhkovka. They are currently actively destroying Druzhkovka with aircraft in preparation for this," Mashovets said.
"So, holding on to Konstantinovka is not an option; there are no more chances?" the presenter clarified.
"I have no comment, I'm not assessing the chances. But for now, the situation is developing in such a way that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have to abandon Kostiantynivka ," the Ukrainian colonel concluded.
It should be noted that the appearance of individual assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces has already been recorded on the outskirts of the village of Alekseevo-Druzhovka, located between Konstantinovka and Druzhkovka.
