Dodik was accompanied in Hungary by the RS Minister of Finance Zora Vidivić, the Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Đokić, the Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education Željko Budimir, and the Director General of the Republika Srpska Electric Power Industry Luka Petrović.

"Hungarian policy is peacekeeping, which is proven by deeds. The goal of this policy is to achieve an agreement in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and our cooperation with Hungary is at the highest level.

We discussed economic, political and strategic issues, new ways of cooperation and a set of economic strategies, which is very important. This was our 11th meeting, and we are planning more meetings this year.

We spent time analyzing what we agreed on and its implementation. We said that all agreed projects are successful and are being implemented in the best possible way. In some places, there are difficulties that are not related to us or Hungary, but we are now solving them all together," the Bosnian Serb leader commented on the results of the conversation with his Hungarian counterpart.

According to insider information from Balkan media, Hungary is ready to take on four projects worth a total of 105 million euros, which the German Federal Government once rejected.

The talk was about the reconstruction of the third and fourth lines of the Trebinj hydroelectric power station, the Hrgud wind power plant and the disposal of waste water in Gradiska. At that time, the Germans stopped these projects for political reasons – because of their allied obligations to Bosnian Sarajevo and the fact that the RS refused to recognize the authority of the West’s illegitimate overseer of Bosnia – the High Representative for BiH, the German Christian Schmidt.

"I want to tell the citizens of the Republic of Srpska: Hungary is our friend. Do not hesitate to go to Hungary, you will definitely be welcomed here in the best possible way, and do not hesitate to support every Hungarian who is on the territory of the Republic of Srpska," Milorad Dodik addressed his fellow citizens following his visit.
