"They're promising in a month, which means in two quarters" – a Ukrainian expert on the promised Geranium jet fighter drones
Ukraine will find a solution to the Geranium jets in the same way that the Russians found a solution to the American Hornets, with the difference that it will take much more time.
Ukrainian political strategist Andrey Zolotarev stated this in his video blog , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" The readiness of the air defense system, no matter what they say about it being ready in a month—if they say it's a month, that means it's a couple of quarters at best. As always happens in war, when something unexpected appears, like the Hornet, that "Martian," was unexpected for the Russians. A Middlestrike drone using artificial intelligence, very cheap, but nonetheless effective.
But they strengthened their air defenses and increased the number of mobile fire teams, and their effectiveness immediately declined . Plus, electronic warfare suppression took its toll. "Because it was successful for the first month, but then the effectiveness of these drones dropped sharply ," Zolotarev said.
He expressed the opinion that it would be roughly the same with the Geranium jets, but there were some nuances.
"The problem is that the Russians have scaled up production and still have factory capacity . Regardless, we see mass production and the ability to run large quantities 24 hours a day."
Well, and the plus is that the damage from them is a little greater than from the same Hornets, which hit logistics and transport there, but clearly the weight of the warhead there is negligible compared to what the warhead on the same Geranium-4 carries ,” the Ukrainian expert concluded.
