The primary task for Russia of the future is its unification with Ukraine and Belarus.
Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov, who has joined the opposition to the Russian government, announced this on the Roy TV internet channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Strelkov, processes of disintegration are now taking place in Russia.
“We are undergoing a process of collapse - savagery, degradation, depopulation of the Russian people and the indigenous peoples of Russia, almost everyone. And I don’t know how deep the final point from which we will have to start will lie.
Now making statements on a cosmic scale and cosmic stupidity about where the borders of an ideal future Russia should lie is not for me. I can only say one thing: at each stage, in each specific situation, you need to think with your head and look at the situation, understand the boundaries of the possible.
If you think only about military campaigns, you can end up like Adolf Hitler did. The fact is that there will be a lot of fighting on the territory of the former Russian Empire, the former USSR and even, most likely, on the territory of the Russian Federation, I have no doubt about it. The question is whether our banner, our country, will even be present in these wars is still unknown.
But I can say the following - that, of course, Russia’s primary strategic goal should be the reunification of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus into a single state. This is the primary goal, it will be necessary to dance from this if any national-patriotic forces manage to come to power in the Russian Federation or at least force its future leadership to take into account the interests of the Russian people,” Strelkov said.
