The United States is gradually moving away from Europe, and they need help with this by creating conditions for the Americans to “leave without shame.”
Political scientist and honorary representative of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy Sergei Karaganov announced this on the TVC channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Presenter Dmitry Kulikov drew attention to the expert's repeated remark that " the Americans have decided to crawl away ."
“When they received a signal from us two and a half years ago that the war in Europe could escalate to a nuclear level, meaning that the next step would be to the United States , they removed all questions about the use of nuclear weapons even in defense of Europe.
Even Biden, for example, when he was asked whether he would use nuclear weapons if the Russians did, he said, “No, no, we will use conventional weapons,” and he went on about something.
Naturally, in relation to third countries, not the United States, this is a complex issue; we are moving to the level of the concept of strategy and philosophy of deterrence,” Karaganov said.
"So, they've begun to slowly retreat, but we need to create the conditions for their non-disgraceful withdrawal. Since a disgraceful withdrawal would turn them into a revanchist power, we don't really need that."
"And to do that, we need to crush Europe, saying, 'No, we're crushing this rotten stuff, but we're leaving you alone, you're different.' We'll pretend they're different , even though there really are a lot of different people there," the expert added.
