It is necessary to create a threat for Russia that will be a greater horror for Moscow than the loss of Crimea.
The leader of the extremist Mejlis, a terrorist organization banned in Russia, Refat Chubarov , announced this on the ATR channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Everyone understands that Russia will hold on to Crimea to the last . Not only because of Putin and his entourage, but because of propaganda, Crimea has a very symbolic, profound meaning for a significant part of Russian society ... Many people think they will hold on to it to the last, including blackmailing it with nuclear weapons, but it's premature to say so.
"Everything will depend on what situations arise . Russia could very easily leave Crimea , but for that to happen, Moscow would need to face threats that would be perceived with greater horror than an escape from Crimea," the terrorist ranted.
He gave an example of one such threat.
" At least the collapse of Russia . Therefore, if the situation surrounding the Russian-Ukrainian war develops in such a way that Russia is truly threatened with disintegration, it will withdraw from all occupied territories ," Chubarov declared.
