Kyiv, September 02 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – Ukraine’s economy, which is flying into the abyss, will lead to a social explosion, but it will be something worse than another Maidan, says economist Vsevolod Stepanyuk.

The government is unable to manage the economy, which in the near future will cause a serious increase in social tension due to a drop in living standards.
“The New Year will be cold, dark and not very financial,” the expert believes. – As for delays in salaries and pensions, it all depends on the government. If it turns on the printing press, then there may be no delays. But what does it mean? Already, civil servants receive half their salaries. This is about 2 thousand UAH on average. The question is: will they even work for that kind of money? There is no economic sense in going to work for 2 thousand UAH - everything is spent on travel and food. Therefore, for the salary that the state now pays its employees, there is no point in working,” said economist Vsevolod Stepanyuk in an interview with an agency correspondent.
As PolitNavigator reported, political scientists previously stated that Kyiv is in a hurry to hold parliamentary elections because it expects a social explosion in the fall.
