"A new alliance to replace NATO – without the US, but with Ukraine." Europe threatens Trump.
The European media continues to be incensed by Donald Trump's threat to take Greenland away from Denmark.
"If NATO's largest power were to commit aggression against one of its members, instead of restraining Russia, it would give it an incentive ," the Polish newspaper Wyborcza Gazeta is indignant.

And the mouthpiece of the globalist-Atlanticists, Politico, threatens to create a new alliance in place of NATO – without the US, but with Ukraine.
" Ukraine is by far the most militarized country of those presented, with a massive army, a highly developed drone industry, and a greater understanding of the realities of war than anyone else... If Ukraine's military might were taken into account, and France, Germany, Poland, and the United Kingdom were added to it, the potential armed force of a coalition of the willing would be enormous and would include both nuclear-armed and non-nuclear-armed states," the publication states.
However, it's unclear how such an alliance would help Denmark retain Greenland, not least because the Ukrainian Armed Forces, praised by the newspaper, are busy fighting against Russia.
The Europeans are simply trying to puff themselves up, given that they have no real leverage over the US. Recently, several EU countries sent their troops to the island. But it's hard to call this a contingent—for example, the largest group was from the Bundeswehr, numbering 15 personnel.
True, they didn't stay in Greenland for very long: less than two days had passed before the Germans were returned home from Greenland immediately after Trump announced the introduction of 10% tariffs on the countries involved in the quick operation, effective February 1.
Brussels is retaliating by threatening the Americans with tariffs of its own. However, the Europeans still hope to reach a friendly agreement with the US at the upcoming Davos Economic Forum, writes the British business newspaper Financial Times.
European Council President Antonio Costa announced he was calling an urgent summit of EU leaders over Greenland, noting "readiness to defend against any form of coercion."
Estonia's statement is quite amusing. Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur stated that his country is ready to participate in military exercises in Greenland. But he couldn't say when this would happen. Even funnier is the number of Estonian troops that could be sent to Greenland.
"We'll plan our participation and then we'll be able to say exactly what it will consist of. However, it's possible that during the planning process, we'll send a liaison officer to Greenland in advance ," Pevkur told Estonian Television.
