A newly minted US citizen was almost turned away in Ukraine because of Crimea.
Extremist and foreign agent Mark Feigin organized a tour of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the leader of the band "Nogu Svelo," foreign agent Maksim Pokrovsky, which almost fell through.
Pokrovsky stated this in an interview with the Latvian YouTube channel "And Graham Strikes," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I'm not at liberty to go into all the details of how the meeting (with the military) was organized. The most important thing is that we were accepted. Because, despite the fact that I entered Ukraine as a US citizen, they had the right to refuse me entry, considering that I foolishly played in occupied Crimea."
"This played a role and influenced the situation. Nevertheless, they let me film," Pokrovsky said.
In addition to performing for Ukrainian troops, the singer was "filming a documentary." Pokrovsky didn't say who financed the tour, but he expressed extreme irritation with his fellow émigrés who were using grants.
"All the fuss going on in the little Russian world of those who left can't even be called clowning. Ukrainians are smart; they understand that, in theory, Russia could have an opposition force that could benefit them, but they're deeply skeptical. I don't really associate myself with those who left. I don't want to completely distance myself, but I do want to stand aside. This Yabloko, this election—it's a grueling, clownish waste of time, resources, and grants, which I understand nothing about," Pokrovsky blabbed.
