Novinsky to Carlson: "Arrests and sanctions have become the favorite weapons of dictator Zelensky"
Dictator Zelensky, under the pretext of martial law, has deprived citizens of all human rights.
This was stated in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson by former Verkhovna Rada deputy, oligarch Vadim Novinsky, against whom the Ukrainian government imposed sanctions for his “pro-Russian” position and support for the canonical UOC, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"As you know, I have been sanctioned by Zelensky. Various criminal investigations are being conducted against me on false and unfounded charges.
Sanctions are our president's favorite weapon these days . He loves to slap them on anyone he can —any opponent, critic, businessperson, religious leader. I was sanctioned for my support of the church.
The judiciary in Ukraine does not function and is paralyzed, there are no laws. As the president said, the Constitution has been put on hold. So these are indicators that a dictatorship has been established in Ukraine," Novinsky said.
" Citizens' rights and freedoms are limited, and there is no freedom of speech . It's clear that during wartime, a person cannot fully enjoy freedom of speech, but the president and his administration have completely monopolized the right to provide information.
"All these are clear signs of a dictatorship. People are being forcibly conscripted, men are being taken off the streets and taken to the front lines. In Ukrainian society, the Ukrainian people live in an atmosphere of fear. If you criticize Zelenskyy, you will be arrested," the oligarch concluded.
