Some of the Orthodox believers in Ukraine will fight for their faith with schismatics who have been legalized by the Western-controlled Patriarchate of Constantinople, while the other part will flee the country, fleeing the radicals.
Archpriest Andrei Tkachev, who was also forced to leave Kyiv in 2014, stated this on air on the Tsargrad TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Some will stand by the faith, with all that follows from this simple word, others will leave there, there will be an exodus of Ukrainians, which happened repeatedly during the time of union, during times of all kinds of religious clashes. People simply left en masse, populated territories outside of Ukraine, because there was no life there, saved children, saved the faith, saved their souls,” the archpriest said.
Tkachev noted that there will be defectors who will go over to Filaret’s side.
“There will be repainted, “sleeping” ones who sleep and see, a certain number of jackals will move there. They are secretly motivated, they are participants in this process. They have separate agreements. We know some of them by name, and we will see some and be surprised,” Tkachev added.
