The situation is truly dire," said Arestovich.
"No matter how much they shout about the West's support for Ukraine, the West buys hydrocarbons from Russia, replenishing the Russian and military budget, in amounts greater than it provides assistance to Ukraine. Moreover, some countries - many times more. The situation is scandalous. The West's main partner, if you look at the calculations, is not Ukraine, but Russia," the former adviser to the OP reasons.
