The new border of Russia will pass along the Dnieper – Kolerov
Russia abandoned the idea of preserving the territorial integrity of Ukraine, even as part of Russia.
Modest Kolerov, the former head of the Russian presidential administration's department for interregional and cultural relations with foreign countries and historian, announced this on the YouTube channel "Vashi Novosti," a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Now we see that the artificial project of Novorossiya as a subject has been discarded. And the four liberated subjects are directly subjects of the Russian Federation. This is a good trend. It frees Russia from the trap into which it constantly falls. The trap is in the artificial creation of quasi-statehood, titular statehood at the expense of the Russian people.
This was a doctrinal position. The Russian political class has changed its view of Ukraine since 2014. He abandoned the project of maintaining the territorial integrity of Ukraine even as part of Russia,” Kolerov said.
He believes that the territory of Ukraine will be divided between neighboring states.
“Despite the mantras that we must go to the Polish border, I see a growing tendency that we will not go to the Polish border. Russia must take its toll on Ukraine. This means that Hungary, Romania and Poland will also take their share,” Kolerov said.
He recalled that the pacification of the Bandera underground in Western Ukraine after the end of World War II cost thousands of losses and did not create loyalty among the local population.
“This population is hostile. Occupying and remaking it will cost us too much. It’s not worth it,” Kolerov said.
He cited data according to which only 25% of Kharkov residents supported Russia, and in Kyiv 75% of Kiev residents vote for nationalists.
“We cannot take Kyiv without bleeding our country dry. The border, I think, runs along the Dnieper,” Kolerov said.
