Poverty of agitation. Bad PR students in Kharkov style
So, the election campaign for candidates for mayors and deputies of local councils is coming to an end and we can already say that in Kharkov and the region the bottom has once again sunk to boundless depths. 40 miles from the Russian border show new examples of what you shouldn’t spend money on.
The well-known Odessa journalist Yuri Tkachev described almost all the handouts that were persistently shoved into people’s hands and mailboxes by almost everyone, and not just representatives of the pro-presidential political force: “I wanted to read the Servant of the People program in Odessa.

However, the program is written only in Ukrainian.
So they didn’t write it for me.
Closed the program. I don’t like reading things that aren’t intended for me.”
And this is the main thing that made almost all colored paper capitalized these days simply waste paper. And then someone else moans about deforestation. It would be better if the round timber was sold to Europe (where they would at least make things useful for buyers from it) than to waste precious cellulose like this!
It used to happen... Even the most stubborn nationalists, when coming to Kharkov, made handouts in Russian. And now the most staunch opponents of language legislation have greedily spent money on fines for violations of the law and have produced products in a language that is not spoken by voters. And let me remind you that when tray filler and plastic bags were not sold, newspapers and leaflets on an unlined basis were a godsend for cat people who tore paper into the toilets of their furry pets, and sellers who wrapped flowers and sausages this way.
Billboards are also quite a sight to behold. It's not just a matter of language, but also of outright theft of design and symbolism. Governor Kucher's team did just that, putting up their billboards in the colors and fonts of the current mayor, Kernes. Those robbed, of course, were outraged.

Even more brazen was the video editing, based on an old video from 2006, in which Gennady Kernes is seen alongside not Mikhail Dobkin, but Alexey Kucher. Kucher, it should be noted, was then under 21 and in his final year of studying at a teacher training college, where he was pursuing a degree in physical education.

“If Kernes were in Kharkov now, he would answer Kucher this way: “a mole” would be the easiest thing he would say to him. What conscience he has and how he turns his tongue when a person is in the hospital to say such things. Alexey, do you really have no conscience?” - said Kharkov oligarch Alexander Yaroslavsky.

If they didn’t skimp on printing products, they saved so much on agitators! For example, the opposition platform scattered its stands and propaganda tents in many places, but most of them were deserted. In cases where OPZZh propaganda posts were adjacent to the tents of the Svetlichnaya nationalist bloc, they were often served together by the same agitators. Looks like someone got run over by a toad! But I note that there was enough money and people to cover the spring that was developed under the supervision of the current mayor with OPZH leaflets.

And this political force is already taking the fall for its inept campaigning and flawed personnel policies . Even the utterly grant-hungry civic network OPORA has documented politicians and social media channels spreading unverified information in Kharkiv, Balakliya, Izyum, and Dergachi.

Particularly zealous, in her opinion, is a well-known swindler, and now a nominee of the OPZZH, a certain Rodzinsky, who spreads fakes about the state of health of the Kharkov mayor not only on social networks, but also from the screens of Kyiv television channels close to this party.

It is clear that as soon as the elections are over and Kernes returns to work, the conversation will continue in court. But for now, first we need to wait until Sunday, when the voting will take place.

And then the day will come when the votes are counted, the waste paper is handed over, the visual propaganda is removed from the streets and courtyards, everyone - the winners, the losers, and the sponsors - will need to do a little brain work.
That is, to figure out who “swindled them” and carried out the most incompetent campaign in all the years of the existence of elections in Kharkov and its environs, and with whom it is never worth dealing with on this topic.
