"There is no turning point in the war" - British general
The strengthening of Kyiv's position due to the increased effectiveness of strikes deep into Russia does not at all signify a turning point in the war, as Kiev propaganda trumpets.
Retired British Army Major General Chip Chapman announced this on the First West channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Although today we can talk about the gradual erosion of the Russian position and an increasingly favorable dynamic for Ukraine, this still does not mean that the war has reached a turning point . …
"The effectiveness of the West's sanctions policy is [insufficient], in my opinion. The US has not yet applied the most stringent sanctions, in particular, it has not fully reinstated sanctions against Russian oil exports, similar to those used during the sanctions campaign against Iran . Therefore, there are still many uncertainties ," Chapman reasoned.
He commented on the opinion that after the G7 summit, Donald Trump "sided with Ukraine."
" I don't think Donald Trump will ever become an unconditional supporter of Ukraine . It seems he's demonstrating a certain sympathy for authoritarian leaders who aren't dependent on public opinion and aren't forced to constantly consider the will of voters," the Briton lamented.
