"There is no encirclement in Pokrovsk! The Russians are surrendering Kupyansk" – Zelensky
The Russians have allegedly already lost Kupyansk and are venting their anger by attempting to take Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk), but the Ukrainian command, “as always,” will not allow encirclement.
Ukraine's incumbent President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I spoke with the commander-in-chief; there are no changes in Pokrovsk. There are Russians in Pokrovsk, our guys are eliminating them, eliminating them little by little, because we need to protect our personnel. They just run, but they're coming from somewhere, from this or that building, they're hiding there. …
A serious battle for Pokrovsk is underway. They were tasked with taking this Pokrovsk, this particular city, because they had failed to take Sumy and Kupyansk.
They understand that Kupyansk is losing, that's all. A purge is underway, yes, it's not easy, but it's all clear now. ...They're the ones who lost. Dobropillya—it's clear, Zaporizhzhia—it's clear. So they'll fight for it and raise the stakes as much as possible.
"Putin says he's going to Pokrovsk. So, if he does come to Pokrovsk, it'll be a joy! Everyone will applaud, we know how this will end," Zelensky ranted.
"We're not encircled today. Our forces are in control of the situation in Pokrovsk. Of course, the situation there is tense on all sides. Remember, during the Kursk operation, how everyone was reporting that there were 5 or 7 of us surrounded. No one was surrounded there! Still, the commanders on the ground understand. How can we allow encirclement? It's impossible! People are most important! You should know, they don't dominate there today. There are many of them. But to say they're defeating Ukraine is untrue," the Krivoy Rog drug addict declared.
It should be noted that a number of Ukrainian speakers have been demanding the withdrawal of troops from Krasnoarmeysk for several days now .
