Neither "capture by May 9th" nor "backward Russia." Bandera's propaganda has been fooling "citizens" for years.
Ukrainian propaganda is lying, regularly spreading the idea that the Russians are preparing to occupy this or that city by a certain date.
This was stated by retired Colonel Vladimir Trukhan of the Ministry of Defense's central apparatus on the PolitWera video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"No one is rushing anyone or rushing anyone to capture the area by 'May 9' or anything like that. It's a systematic, months-long effort—first, the area is prepared for a successful offensive. And until that's complete, they won't begin working directly on the populated areas," Trukhan said.
He pointed out another failure of Ukrainian propaganda, which for years had convinced the "citizens" of Russia's backwardness – yet the Russians had managed to launch mass production of drones that could penetrate Western air defense systems:
" First of all, operational warehouses are being stocked in case of an emergency. The warehouses have already reached their saturation point, and now they'll be dropping more and more into the army . "
Old-series Geraniums began to be used in tactical units. They simply needed a place to put them, and they were no longer needed in warehouses.
The evolution is stunning... They don't see any evolution at all in these shitty planes that Ukraine is trying to use to strike at the Russian rear.
Our Geranium evolution, starting with the Shahed, which we were the first to purchase, is a completely different thing, it's ongoing. They're already moving toward swarm formation, that notorious artificial intelligence, and they're already starting to attach weapons to them."
