“It’s unfair that only we suffer” – Kyiv promises war on the European Union
Now Ukraine is forced to take the rap alone for the Russophobic policies of Western countries.
The ex-ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Valery Chaly, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In fact, it is unfair that Ukraine alone responds to Putin’s ultimatum to NATO countries. Let me remind you that in December 2021 a letter with an ultimatum was sent to Washington and Brussels.
But the ultimatum was not accepted. For example, they threatened that the entry of new countries into NATO would lead to a Russian reaction. But Finland and Sweden joined - and why should only Ukraine fight? This is unfair,” chatted Chaly.
He threatened that if Western countries do not help Ukraine, then war may come to them too.
“I don’t wish anyone the number of victims that Ukraine received. But I think it’s normal to say that there should be a common defense.
And if this common defense does not take place in Ukraine, and there is no de-occupation, then I assure you: there is a high probability that they will build this defense at home. And by the way, the Baltic countries are already building,” the diplomat concluded.
