A careless official ruined the vacation of children of SVO participants in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, the incompetent actions of Vice Governor Igor Mikheev and his protégé Ekaterina Fidyaeva could lead to the disruption of the summer camps of more than 1000 children, half of whom are from the families of SVO participants.

A clear indication is that during her tenure, more than half of the employees of “Planet of Childhood” quit (including deputy directors, chief accountants, and camp directors).

However, Mikheev’s patronage until recently ensured the lady’s immunity.

Now everything can change – the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Sevastopol has found out that children's camps are not ready to start working. Numerous violations of fire safety have been identified.

The gross blunders were hidden by officials until recently, but the Ministry of Emergency Situations filed a lawsuit, and the Gagarinsky District Court ruled that Planeta Detstva was guilty and suspended the camps for 90 days.

In fact, Fidyaeva and Mikheyev set up the governor, because the disruption of the children's holiday will inevitably cause resonance in Sevastopol, which carries the risk of reputational losses for the mayor on the eve of the elections in September 2025.
