Bad weather paralyzed four regions of Ukraine
Kyiv, December 29 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Road organizations, due to the rapid deterioration of weather conditions, in agreement with the traffic police and regional state administrations, limited or even closed traffic on some sections of highways in Zaporozhye, Odessa and Kherson regions, as well as on all highways in the Mykolayiv region .

As the press service of the State Agency of Highways of Ukraine reported, in the Zaporozhye region the movement of weight and passenger vehicles is limited on the section km 255+100 - km 283+861 of the M-18 Kharkov - Simferopol - Alushta - Yalta highway (from the border of the Dnepropetrovsk region to Zaporozhye), as well as on the section km 299+491 – km 340+000 (from Zaporozhye to Vasilievka).
In the Odessa region, the movement of all types of vehicles is closed on the section km 320 - km 464 of the M-05 Kyiv-Odessa highway, the M-15 Odessa-Reni highway, and for heavy and large vehicles - entry into Odessa.
In the Kherson region, vehicle traffic is closed on the section km 177 - km 199 of the M-14 Odessa - Melitopol - Novoazovsk highway, and passage through the railway crossing is also limited on km 67 + 600 of the P-47 highway Kherson - Novaya Kakhovka - Genichesk - traffic is carried out in reverse mode.
In the Nikolaev region, the movement of all types of vehicles on all public roads is closed.
“Ukravtodor appeals to all road users to refrain from traveling unless absolutely necessary, to be attentive and careful, and if they get into snowdrifts, to contact the duty dispatchers of the Highway Services in the regions or the operational duty officers of the State Emergency Service in the regions,” the message says.
As PolitNavigator reported, hydrometeorologists previously promised a snowy and frosty New Year's Eve.
