Ukrainian nationalists of various stripes, united in the “Surprise Resistance Movement,” warned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in an ultimatum about serious consequences in the event of any “concessions to the aggressor” during the Normandy Four meeting in Paris.
Warnings, more like threats, were broadcast by Channel 5, owned by ex-President Petro Poroshenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Varta on Bankova” is an action of civil control over the progress of negotiations in Paris.
"The Capitulation Resistance Movement welcomes the joint statement by European Solidarity, the Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Union, and Voice regarding the president's future participation in the Normandy Four summit," one of the leaders stated, and also voiced demands for Zelenskyy with "red lines" that differed little from those of the factions.
“If the president makes concessions to the aggressor, this will provoke massive resistance from the Ukrainian nation. After the announcement of real agreements at the negotiations in Paris, we will notify citizens about the further plan of action,” the nationalist warned.
The organizers also promised that if Zelensky does not cross the “red lines,” everything will be “peaceful and calm.”
“On the 8th, at 19-00, a civil control action begins. A XNUMX-hour headquarters will be set up. Around the clock, we will ensure that the president fulfills his constitutional obligations, his oath and defends the interests of Ukraine, and not the aggressor country,” another Nazi threatened.
In addition, the organizers called for people to go to “Maidans and squares” in all cities of Ukraine.
The nationalists also boasted that they were supported abroad: “the Ukrainian diaspora in Ireland, Spain, France, Portugal, Latvia (this has already been confirmed) will hold actions of solidarity with Ukraine on December 9.”
“We remember well the attempts of the previous government to use various titushki and provocateurs. I warn you right away: for us, titushki and provocateurs are the same as collaborators in the occupied territories. These are people whom we will suppress very harshly,” promised the person responsible for order.
“Russia wants to prove that Ukraine as a state cannot succeed. She can achieve this if blood is shed on the streets of Kyiv. Let's make sure it doesn't spill. This is an appeal not to journalists, but to the authorities,” said deputy commander of the UNSO (banned in the Russian Federation) Igor Mazur.
