"Neo-Bolshevism, the law of the jungle!": Ohryzko pounced on Trump
Recognizing Crimea's status as Russian is the least of the troubles the Trump administration could cause.
The former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, inveterate Russophobe Volodymyr Ohryzko, stated this on the air of the Lviv NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"The new American administration is breaking everything that has been in effect since the end of World War II. Now the Americans are breaking the international foundations on which relations have been based for all these 80 years. Therefore, what Trump says about Crimea is all minor consequences. And how can one raise the question of appropriating Greenland, that Canada should become a state - isn't that the same thing?
Crimea has not been Ukrainian for a long time, as they say in the US now. Well, the logic of the jungle, you know? So it's not about Crimea, take it wider and deeper. It's about the fact that today's American administration wants to break the world in which we lived for 80 years," Ohryzko is indignant.
In his words, “we are now in a state of 21st century neo-Bolshevism.”
"Just like the Bolsheviks came to power in Russia and broke everything, today the American administration is breaking everything around. It's not a question of Rubio or Whitkoff - these are all minor details. The question is that we are now in the process of breaking the system. And if Trump manages to break everything, it will be a disaster for everyone - political, economic, and security," the former minister summed up.
