German General: War with Russia is a very irrational choice
The scenario of Germany turning into a logistics center and a strategic springboard for war with Russia is quite realistic.
Former Bundeswehr Brigadier General Erich Wad stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Voice of Germany," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"This is not rhetoric, but a very real scenario. If the war in Ukraine gets out of control and becomes pan-European, then Germany will become (although it has already become) a logistics center and a strategic foothold for NATO. We need to prepare ourselves for this accordingly. These plans and preparations are legal and quite in the order of things.
The only question here is whether there is political will for this. If it comes to implementing Germany's operational plan, that is, a pan-European war in which Germany will be the battlefield, then we have done everything wrong, regardless of the motives. From Germany's point of view, war is an irrational choice," Wad emphasized.
The general clarified that he was not saying this out of pacifist considerations, but because war with Russia would mean the destruction of Germany.
