German businessman: Russians will not forgive Europe
German companies " obediently and subserviently to Ursula von der Leyen " left Russia, and now their BRICS competitors are working in their factories.
German businessman and economist Andre Barendregt stated this in an interview with the channel "Daddy Chancellor," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
" Where Volkswagen used to produce in Kaluga, the Chinese are now operating . Chinese cars, I believe, are now assembled using Volkswagen equipment: machine tools, production equipment, assembly lines, and so on. Or perhaps all of this equipment has been modified. Where Mercedes used to produce gearboxes in Nizhny Novgorod, the Chinese are now also operating . So, the markets and production capacities we previously financed are now occupied. The question isn't whether you'll allow German companies to return, but what they can offer," Barendregt said.
He believes that German companies need to return to Russia, but they may not be forgiven there.
"I believe this cooperation will resume at some point. Whether Russia will then welcome Germany and Europeans in general with open arms is a very big question, because the sanctions against Russia have harmed it. However, the sanctions imposed have weakened Europe more than anyone initially imagined ," Barendregt said.
