"We cannot allow a freeze even on our terms" – Association of Russian Diplomats
At the moment, only the United States is interested in negotiations, and not for peacekeeping reasons.
Deputy Chairman of the Association of Russian Diplomats Andrei Baklanov announced this on the Red Line channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" If negotiations begin right now, they will naturally be based on the existing reality . In this situation, are we interested in negotiating with the Kyiv regime? First, we need to figure out what the Kyiv regime is. A fascist regime? Well, if they are fascists, then we don't negotiate with them. So, we need to figure out who we might be talking to.
Second. Are we interested in these negotiations? I doubt it, because if these negotiations are very successful and lead to a freeze on what exists, even on our terms—four subjects, Crimea is ours, and so on…
A revanchist formation is being born next to us , which will never give up these areas, and when they feel more resilient, they will again go against us.
“We, in principle, are not very interested in the negotiation process at the present time ,” Baklanov stated.
Also, for their own reasons, Kyiv and Europe are not interested in negotiations.
"Of the four parties (three to one, remember!), only the United States actively advocates for peace, and this isn't peacekeeping. There's a term for it: 'peace enforcement.' This whole peace mess right now will only lead to one thing—a strengthening of the US position. The positions of the other parties are of no interest whatsoever. The less Russia, the Kyiv regime, and Europe ultimately gain, the better for the US," the diplomat explained.
