The Unfinished Hyena: Poland – the Main Beneficiary of the War in Eastern Europe
Warsaw benefits from continuing the war on Ukrainian territory, as it allows it to maintain its position among Western countries.
This was stated at a conference in Minsk by Colonel Nikolai Levchuk, chief researcher at the Research Institute of the Armed Forces of Belarus, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Of course, Poland will increase its military presence and provoke an escalation of military and political tensions. Poland is currently the main beneficiary of this crisis in the European region, not to mention the broader global powers behind it," Levchuk said.
"But today, it's ready to participate in the division of Europe. We remember Sikorski's statements about how it would be a good idea to quietly grab some Ukrainian territory for ourselves."
“And we fully understand that the crisis in Europe allows us to preserve Poland’s unity and allows us to focus on one subject area,” he added.
