“I don’t see any other option.” Illarionov prophesies the division of Ukraine by Russia and the USA
At the upcoming meeting of the presidents of the United States and Russia, the parties may agree on new relations at the expense of the territories of Ukraine.
This was stated on Channel 4 by Andrei Illarionov, a former adviser to the Russian president who moved to the United States, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Could there be an exchange between the United States and Russia at the expense of Ukraine? I don't see any other option. I just don't see any other option. And from this point of view, the upcoming meeting, the potential meeting between Biden and Putin strongly reminds me of the meetings that took place in 1938, when similar meetings were planned, organized and proposed by British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain to German Chancellor Adolf Hitler.
Then, too, the main task was to maintain peace, to ensure the peaceful existence of Europe, and then there were several meetings that ended with the Munich Conference on September 30, 1938, in which Chamberlain and Daladier on the one hand, and Hitler and Mussolini on the other The parties met without Czechoslovakia, behind the back of Czechoslovakia, the President of Czechoslovakia was not even allowed into the negotiation room, he was informed of the decisions that were made there on the transfer of the Sudetenland to Czechoslovakia to Germany.
Therefore, with such a historical example behind us, it cannot be ruled out that something similar could happen in 2021. Whether this will happen or not, we don't know. I wish this didn't happen. Western partners in 1938 had exactly the same agenda as they have in 2021. This agenda means preventing what would mean destabilizing the world situation and ensuring peace,” Illarionov said.
