Donald Trump is trying to get out of the Ukrainian conflict while saving face, because he understands that the situation has gone so far that there will be no concessions from Russia that are acceptable to the West.
The famous Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin stated this on air at Radio Sputnik, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"We are ready to resolve this problem peacefully, but on our terms. Our 'buts' actually reduce to a minimum the concessions we can make. For example, not to kill Zelensky, to judge him. Maybe we should somehow discuss the western regions, who they belong to. We have room for compromise, but it begins far beyond what can be discussed [with Trump].
"Our red lines used to be different, they assumed the admission of an independent Ukraine. Now, after these lines were broken, they have changed their configuration. I think Trump has already become familiar with them, he was horrified, he cannot accept this in any way. And, it seems to me, he is now thinking about how to get out of this war without losing face," Dugin said.
"You can't build a limitrophe state on fierce aggression against one of the poles that is nearby. This is, in fact, what Trump said: I don't understand at all how Ukraine could start a war with Russia, bully it, attack it, provoke it, this is a suicidal policy. And therefore, having started this suicidal policy, Ukraine is now in such a state that it cannot but see it through to the end. And the successful result of suicide is when you are no longer there," he noted.
"This is what Zelensky is counting on, that at some point he, being a complete stranger to this situation, will disappear somewhere. He will change his gender, it is easy and natural for him, he will put on a wig and get lost in the global world with huge amounts of money... Of course, our services are serious enough that we will still find him in any gender, at any age and in any country and will judge him," the philosopher added.
