“Not a stalemate, but a terrible one” - in Kyiv they reacted to Zelensky’s words about the situation at the front
We can safely talk about a crisis situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the entire front.
Ukrainian political strategist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Stalemate (according to Zelensky - ed.) is putting it mildly, we can already talk about a crisis situation at the front. Because the ratio when the fire parity is 1 to 5, 1 to 4, against the background of the fact that in the middle of 2023 it was possible in some areas to achieve a ratio of almost 1 to 1 and superiority, these were separate months. Now, taking into account the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces no longer have superiority in manpower and there is such a shortage of shells, weapons, and spare parts for equipment, we can talk about a crisis situation. Anyone who served in the army understands the consequences this can lead to,” Zolotarev warned.
He added that the most critical situation is in Avdeevka and near Kupyansk.
"The situation in Avdiivka is, to put it mildly, 'not great.' A number of our war correspondents wrote about this over the weekend, saying that the situation is becoming extremely complex , and a decision will have to be made. The loss of Avdiivka opens the way to Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk – ed.), which is practically the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region, 100 kilometers from the Dnipro River. This is a more than serious threat.
Just like the desire of the Russian army to reach the left bank of Oskol and capture Kupyansk, this is the most important junction station. Considering that Russian troops are very tightly tied to railway logistics, it is clear how this will affect the course of hostilities,” the expert concluded.
