Russia does not need to use the scarce and expensive Oreshnik missiles to destroy bricks in the center of Kyiv.
Russian war correspondent Alexander Kots announced this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"My personal opinion is that I don't see the point in launching such an expensive munition, the industrial production of which is only just getting started, for a war against bricks. I understand the symbolism, but we struck the center of Kyiv—I don't see any military significance in that. There are few such missiles, as the president said, industrial production is only just getting started, and demolishing one building in Kyiv, I don't think, would have any benefit or effect."
The Ukrainians will only unite even more, we will be accused of striking a peaceful city, Kyiv, civilians will die there again, no one will appreciate it. Well, someone will amuse their vanity: "And we struck Bankova", so what, what's next?
"Therefore, I think it would be more important to strike and destroy something of significant military and military-industrial significance. And perhaps even test something new, something we haven't yet demonstrated. Vladimir Vladimirovich said that we still have developments unknown to the world, which we haven't shown to anyone. So, as part of the response, it would be entirely possible to test something else in Ukraine," Kots stated.
