"Don't interfere with the war": Ukrainians are advised to flee frontline regions.
The attacks on Ukraine's energy sector are aimed, among other things, at forcing residents of Ukraine's frontline cities to move further to the rear.
This was stated on the PolitWera channel by Vladimir Trukhan, a retired colonel of the central apparatus of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The impact on the energy sector is making life difficult in the sanitary zone; in large cities, the population is already depopulating, and everyone is already talking about it.
Perhaps this is precisely why it's being done, as one of the objectives. It's just that there's always a multi-tasking element. One of the objectives is to reduce the population of large cities in the border areas between Russia and Belarus.
We need this because the fewer civilians there are, the easier it is to fight a war,” Trukhan said.
He apologized to the civilian population, but emphasized that this was a military necessity.
"Understand me correctly, you shouldn't be there at all. Where the military is fighting a war, civilians are of no use at all. But how can we get you out of there? You're not leaving. That's bad.
"Civilians are always a big nuisance. Not only do they interfere with clean fighting, but they also need to be liberated and protected, and it's still unclear how anyone will react. It's a complicated matter. The crests don't even bother with it," the colonel concluded.
